This Sea of Ignorance

Sometimes it is a bit frustrating to debate people who have not taken the time to read Quigley’s  ‘Anglo-American Establishment’  or the many historical accounts of Antony C Sutton; but I must take the world as I find it.  Most of these people are smart and well-intentioned but lack key information.      Faced with similar frustrations, Joe Plummer would give away Quigley’s books in the hope someone would read them, only to find out the challenge was too great.   Rather than give up, however, Joe decided to write his own slimmed-down, easier to understand and updated book on Quigley called appropriately Tragedy and Hope 101.    In this sea of ignorance, how can we have an intelligent or sane conversation without 1) key information on the real players; 2) fundamental knowledge of methods and procedures and 3) the proven historical backdrop provided by Quigley and other researchers?   That is the question.   Without the historical context and an understanding of the genealogy and pedigree of the current batch of oligarchs, how can we advance our mutual understanding and how can we engage in an effective contest for our freedom as the collective noose is tightened around our collective necks?

We are encouraged by the rapid spread of information through the internet; and we are encouraged to understand, historically, the information wars can be won by as few as 5% of the populations.    I am also encouraged by the many people who have not read Quigley, yet by the sheer force of their own intellectual skills and keen observations, can impute without the direct information provided by Quigley.   Without Quigley, they point to inconsistencies in the official historical record and the official stories of finance, geopolitics and social engineering that deserve a complete accounting and then demand an explanation.   The interview below with Paul Craig Roberts is a very good example of the brilliant intellect of PCR who struggles without the benefit of Quigley.

Paul Craig Roberts Interviewed by John B. Wells, Caravan To Midnight

Another good example of brilliance overcoming ignorance without the benefit of Quigley can be seen in the excellent interview of NSA Whistleblower William Binney by Richard Grove here.
Obviously, Mr. Grove is well versed in Quigley, but the question must be asked:  How much more effective would Binney or PCR be if they had the benefit of Quigley’s and Sutton’s documented evidence?

I’ve often said …

“There are two kinds of people: Those who have read Quigley and those who have not; and it is very easy to tell the difference.”

I didn’t say this to be offensive or elitist or to prove I’m smarter than anyone else. I said it simply because it is true. Once the truth of what Quigley said hits you, you can never go home again, you can never see the world the same way again. Your innocence is lost.   Your naive belief in the goodness of so many institutions is forever shattered by documented fact. You see with clear eyes and so you are more difficult to fool by those who build the walled-gardens of propaganda where most of your fellows live out their intellectual lives; never questioning the construction of these walls, built of ‘well-established’ assumptions which are in fact lies.

But even with the revelations provided by Quigley, Sutton and others, the picture is never complete and of course changes over time.   The old guards die, providing room for the new oligarchs and their attendant power structures; but these changes are mostly traceable and predictable. The footprints of the past are seen everywhere in the present. Today, we have a new generation of brave, brilliant investigators and heroes who have continued –sometimes at great personal sacrifice– to peel back the curtain so that we can observe those who seek to enslave the rest of us for their own selfish purposes. See the Julian Assange interview below.

Assange on ‘US Empire,’ Assad govt overthrow plans & new book ‘The WikiLeaks Files’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Published on Sep 9, 2015

Afshin Rattansi goes underground with the world’s most wanted publisher – the founder of WikiLeaks, Julian Assange. He has just co-authored a book – the WikiLeaks Files, and it paints a picture of systemic US torture and killing as well as the destruction of the lives and livelihoods of billions of people right around the world.

There are many examples of our Superstars who have read and understand Quigley and Sutton:

Meet Pierre Omidyar

Pierre Omidyar (2007)

Pierre Omidyar (2007)

Who is Pierre Omidyar? Well, he is a billionaire… who is also Glenn Greenwald’s boss who helped the CIA fund the violent overthrow of the democratically elected government of Ukraine last year (documents below) so that the US State Department could install their own puppet government. Remember Julian Assange of Wikileaks who is held up in the Ecuadorian embassy in the UK since 2012 because the US Government wants his hide? Well, Pierre Omidyar also suspended WikiLeaks’ donation account and froze its assets leaving WikiLeaks facing a funding crisis. Seems Pierre gets around. He and pal George Soros have both assisted the CIA and the State Department in the putsch in Ukraine. Small world. It’s interesting to note that Soros proudly admits to helping Hitler in his youth (yes, he is that old) and now he along with the US Government are helping the Neo-Nazis in Ukraine.

Note: Pierre, is the the billionaire owner of PayPal Corporation has entered into a $250 Million business partnership with two journalists-Glenn Greenwald and Laura Poitras, a journalist duo who possess the entire cache of evidence provided by Edward Snowden.

George Friedman, “Europe: Destined for Conflict?”

by DAVID BROWN | CLEARNFO.com | March 15, 2015

George FriedmanExcellent speech by George Friedman (below) given at the Chicago Council of Global Affairs.  Mr. Friedman reveals many overlooked dynamics which can provide the listener deeper insight into the EU’s chances of success or failure, the rise of nationalism and the key role Germany will play.  He underscores  a key US strategy to keep Russia and Germany separate and in conflict, fearing a combination of Germany’s financial and technical strength combined with Russia’s vast resources and workforce would threaten the existing US hegemony.

Since Greece cannot pay their bills, Mr. Friedman postulates that Greece will eventually offer to pay some portion perhaps 60% in Greek drachma telling Germany to take it or leave it.  They can have a partial payment or have zero and of course Germany will be forced to take this deal to get something and to keep the contagion from spreading to Portugal, Italy and Spain.  Owing a lot of money, Mr. Friedman explains actually puts Greece in a more powerful position than Germany since Germany needs the EU to sustain its massive export business which represents 50% of its GDP of which 25% goes to the EU; and Greece at this point cannot pay its debts. He speaks to the long held hatreds and rivalries amongst the member states, the rise of nationalism and Europe’s history of settling their differences with bullets.  Explaining the dynamics of Europe, the EU, Greece, Ukraine, Germany, the USA and Russia, he makes some interesting predictions based on his unique analysis.

Despite his apparent acceptance of US war propaganda, you can still benefit from his insightful and informative analysis. Of course you should know I can’t agree with some of the default positions of the sponsor (The Chicago Council on Global Affairs) regarding Russian aggression against Ukraine, and I would presume George Friedman shares this position with the Chicago Council though it was less clear from his speech.

As informed and thoughtful as Friedman is, he seems oblivious to the clandestine history and machinations of the CIA, USAID, Soros, etc. which is designed to destabilize targeted countries like Ukraine through so called ‘Color Revolutions’ using operation Gladio tactics informed by US Geopolitical Policies. He may be very aware that the US is the real culprit in the Ukraine conflict, but holding his cards close to the vest; otherwise, he wouldn’t be invited to speak at places like the Chicago Council.  After all, we must blame what the US is doing in Ukraine on Putin to be accepted by the establishment. He seems to agree with the US’s foreign policy overall, but does warn that the US should only occupy nations by force as a last resort and never get into nation-building as in Iraq.  Better that the US orchestrate fights and heighten divisions amongst power structures than get stuck in unwinnable, protracted conflicts.  Despite my criticisms, and his obvious poor grasp of economics, I found his speech enlightening, brilliant and well worth the view.

Important to note: There is a history to Mr. Friedman’s company, Stratfor, that deserves additional attention, so I have added a link to the Stratfor email leaks below which reveal a murky side to Mr. Friedman and his company; but for now, sit back and enjoy his excellent, though myopic speech.  Friedman’s company, Stratfor, had its emails leaked to the public by Jeremy Hammond via Wikileaks. Much condemning information was discovered as a result.  Here is just one example:

From Wikipedia: “Some emails reveal that Stratfor had been partnering with Shea Morenz, a former Goldman Sachs director, along with other informants, in order to profit from what could be considered insider trading. Stratfor planned to use the intelligence it gathered in order to profit from trading in several worldwide markets. They created an offshore “share structure” known as “StratCap” during 2011, in order to avoid insider trading allegations. The offshore entity, set to launch operations in 2012, is outwardly independent of Stratfor, but CEO George Friedman told his employees that StratCap is secretly integrated with Stratfor.”

Jeremy Hammond is a political activist and computer hacker from Chicago. He was convicted and sentenced in November 2013 to 10 years in US Federal Prison for hacking the private intelligence firm Stratfor and releasing the leaks through the whistle-blowing website WikiLeaks.

George Friedman, “Europe: Destined for Conflict?”

COMPLETE Event Summary by Richard C. Longworth

Small excerpt from Mr. Longworth’s summary linked above: “Friedman is concerned with Ukraine, Vladimir Putin’s aggression and the American response to it. But most of his speech dealt with the crisis within the European Union. In this drama, the central player is not Russia but Germany.”
