Open Mic: Tehran

by DAVID BROWN | CLEARNFO.com | June 18, 2015

This is an interesting piece from the Compromised News Network a.k.a. CNN whose function is to spread U.S. propaganda. It does however comport with my view of reality concerning the Iranian people. Why? Because I went to school with many Iranians and this speaks to the truth of the majority of Iranians as I know them.  My big question is why a state-controlled media organ like CNN would publish something so obviously true? Scratching my head. This open mic news piece was published on Sep 25, 2013

Iran in 1960 - 70s

Picture of Iran from 1960 – 70s…

Despite reformatting their countries after WWI, Islam was on the path to moderation and modernization, until the U.S. began stirring the shit in earnest according to the ‘Made in America’ geopolitical strategies cooked up by Wolfowitz, Brzezinski and others.  Seems the average Westerner is happily indoctrinated by the many fictions created by the media and so follows the direction given without question; critical thought or examination of false assumptions promulgated by the state/corporate propaganda organs rarely makes it to the general public’s awareness, and if by chance it does, is soon forgotten.

Your U.S. tax dollars at work, and for what benefit?  Did the U.S. spread democracy to Vietnam? Nope. You can’t spread what you don’t have.  BTW, the war in Vietnam was based on a U.S. lie (as requested by LBJ) of the Gulf of Tonkin Incident which never, ever happened.   After 1.5 to 3.6 million innocent men, women and children were brutally murdered by the United States of America and 58,209 young Americans lost their lives, the U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara later admitted the Gulf of Tonkin incident never happened. Oops. So sorry. Who benefited? Not you, not me and not the Vietnamese. The banksters and the defense contractors did pretty darned well. Yachts and multiple homes, fat bank accounts and the appearance of legitimacy for all. War is good business. Had JFK not been assassinated, would he have been obliged to create such a lie as LBJ? Doubtful, but we will never know. This one instance should give anyone with an I.Q. above a stalk of broccoli a taste of who the psychopathic mobsters are who actually run this country.  See Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria and Ukraine for more examples of the same.  All based on lies supported by the existing power structure and their bought and paid for mainstream media talking heads. Get a clue.

Necessary Bridges by Rashid Kapadia

Below are a couple of important videos in the category of ‘PRODUCTIVITY’.  The first video is a speech I recorded earlier this year at the HESS Club in Houston, TX.  The second is an interview I recorded with this same speaker. Many people have a fear of public speaking and therefore avoid this at all cost.  By avoiding public speaking, I feel that we may be limiting our careers and opportunities in both our business and personal lives.   This is why I think this book is so darned important.  This is not your standard book on public speaking, but rather a book written by an engineer and a project manager; and I might add a personal friend of mine, Rashid Kapadia.  Having the mind of an engineer, Rashid has undertaken a different approach to this topic than I have seen before, and has made some amazing and useful discoveries that I think we all can use in our daily lives.  I hope you get as much out of this as I did and make a commitment to purchase and read Rashid’s excellent book.  Enjoy.

Silk Road’s Ross Ulbricht sentenced to life

by DAVID BROWN | CLEARNFO.com | June 1, 2015

Ross Ulbricht

Ross Ulbricht

Poking the Monster: I must admit I haven’t been following the Ulbricht story, but after seeing the FBI crowing about the life conviction of a young Ross Ulbricht, I  posted the following comment (just below) on the official FBI Facebook page.

David Brown: Interesting that they give this young guy life in prison for setting up a website that allowed the transfer of illegal drugs, etc. yet when several large banks including HSBC get caught red-handed laundering billions in drug money, they get a slap on the wrist and ZERO jail time.”
Like · 961 · May 29 at 11:31pm”

I was amazed to receive 961 likes and many favorable comments, since I assumed I would be stirring a hornet’s nest, though ever so gently.  I thought of my post as a ‘logic-bomb‘ set off  in this FBI Facebook echo chamber of cackling sycophants, used to illustrate the abject duplicity and absurdity of the FBI’s position.  Surprisingly, at least 961 people agreed and were apparently aware of the Bankster’s FBI-issued, default get out of jail card.  Now, Ulbricht may be one evil dood –I just don’t know– and maybe he deserved some jail time; but life seems a bit much when the Banksters go free after laundering billions in drug money.   The hypocrisy is thick at the self-exalted FBI.  The FBI doesn’t need me to mock them with simple logic, they mock themselves by their actions. Furthermore, the corruption and complicity of the FBI in the 9/11 attacks can be seen up close and personal in Sibel Edmond’s Classified Woman If ever once you believed in the veracity and truthfulness of the FBI, this one book will disabuse you of such foolishness. The FBI serves a master, but it isn’t the American citizen and it isn’t ‘truth, justice and the American way’.

Normally, I don’t quote CNN (Compromised News Network) because of their obvious position as the official government gatekeepers and in their participation in something similar to the CIA’s Operation Mockingbird, but decided to quote CNN under my comment above on the FBI Facebook site to eliminate the discussion around Ulbricht being a murderer, to wit:

From CNN: “The judge also said there was “no doubt” that Ulbricht paid for murders of those who had threatened Silk Road. Prosecutors had charged Ulbricht with commissioning six murders-for-hire but those charges were dropped and there is no evidence that these murders were ever carried out. Ulbricht, who is 31, was convicted in February on seven counts ranging from money laundering to drug trafficking. He could have been sentenced to only 20 years. “

Humanitarian Crisis in Yemen

Yemen Crisis

Yemen Crisis

Same story, different country … seems like a repeat in every nation the U.S. has attacked over the past 12 years.  You may not care about the plight of these poor people in Yemen or about the plight of the folks in other countries the U.S. has attacked without provocation (Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya, Syria), but these war crimes are being orchestrated and facilitated by your own Pentagon under your control. What goes around, comes around and these psychopaths who are slaughtering or causing to be slaughtered these now millions of innocent people across the globe will not have a second thought of turning on you when the time comes. Now is the time to rein in those in the U.S. Government who are engaging in the pointless murder and mayhem across the globe in your name with your tax dollars under false pretenses of the so called ‘National Security’ ruse. Get a clue.

“As you are aware the crisis has reached dire proportions. According to the UN’s own estimates about nine million Yemenis, over a third of the population, are believed to be in dire need of humanitarian assistance, and hundreds of thousands have become internal refugees.”

A one of a kind interview with the head of the Russian Government’s foreign intelligence service

A one of a kind interview with the head of the Russian Government’s foreign intelligence service.

Lieutenant General Leonid Reshetnikov (Rtd) - Director of Russia's Institute of Strategic Research

Lieutenant General Leonid Reshetnikov (Rtd) – Director of Russia’s Institute of Strategic Research

“A few weeks ago Colonel General Igor Sergun, the Head of the Main Military Intelligence Directorate (GRU) of the General Staff of the Russian armed forces, gave a brief interview in which he publicly linked the U.S. to jihadi terrorism. Now it is the turn of Lieutenant General Leonid Reshetnikov, Director of the Russian Institute of Strategic Research (RISR), the Russian government’s chief centre for foreign policy analysis.”

Q – That is, the joint Russian-American fight against terror, in particular, against ISIS – is a fiction?

“Of course. America creates terrorists, feeds them, trains them, and then gives an order to the whole pack: “catch”. Perhaps, they can shoot one “rabid dog” in the whole pack, but the other dogs will be set even more actively.”

Q – Some European leaders already lament that the USA effectively forced sanctions on them. Europe may break out of the “friendly” American embrace?

“Never. America holds her on several chains: the Federal Reserve printing press, the threat of color-coded revolutions and of the physical elimination of unwanted politicians.”

Q – Are you exaggerating about the physical elimination part?
“Not at all. The Central Intelligence Agency of the USA is not even an intelligence service based on the level of the tasks set before it. The PGU KGB or the SVR of the RF are classical intelligence services: information gathering and reporting to the leadership of the country. In the CIA these traditional features of an intelligence service are at the end of the list of its problems. The main goals are: elimination, which included physical elimination, of the politicians and the organization of coups. And they do this in real time.”

Q – Leonid Petrovich, you think that the USA and the American presidents are just an instrument. Who do you think determine their policy?

“There are communities of people who are effectively unknown to the public, which not only determine the American presidents but also determine the rules of the whole “big game”. In particular, these are the transnational financial corporations. But not only them.”

RAND Corporation on Ukraine

by DAVID BROWN | CLEARNFO.com | June 1, 2015

RAND Corporation

RAND Corporation

Most people have no clue of who the RAND Corp. is, their history or their function within the U.S. Federal Government.  Below is the leaked document from the RAND Corp. that identifies their plan for eastern Ukraine.  Why is this important to you?  Because it reveals their methods and procedures that our U.S. Pentagon Planners take very seriously and frequently act upon.  This will also give you some sense of what to expect when and IF these techniques are turned in upon U.S. Citizens.  There are many other interested parties and participants in the U.S.-backed and orchestrated coup in Ukraine back in Feb of 2014, but this provides a level of detail left out of some of the other geopolitical strategies found in Zbig’s Grand Chessboard, etc.

A strategic document by the US military think tank RAND Corporation on the plan in eastern Ukraine was leaked. The Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko follows the action plan proposed by RAND analysts. The document provides three stages of a military operation in eastern Ukraine.

  • During the first stage of the military operation in Ukraine martial law should be introduced, considering that all local citizens are terrorists or sympathizers. Regions supporting militias must be completely isolated. All types of communications should be blocked, curfews should be established.
  • The second stage of the plan involves the seizure of territories. The cities should be entered with armed vehicles, which open fire on all armed people. All the men sent to filtration camps. People featuring traces of combat engagement shall be tried in court for terrorism.
  • The third phase of the plan involves the restoration of the regions. The borders shall be strengthened to avoid possible provocations. All the refugees should be checked for possible support for separatists in internment camps.

The document stresses that the area of operation should not be representatives of the foreign media. Should also be carried out mass propaganda campaign.

Defense Attaché

by DAVID BROWN | CLEARNFO.com | May 29, 2015

Years ago, when I was at the University studying mathematics and philosophy, I would wander down to the most excellent library and ply my way through some of the more exotic periodicals. Two were particularly interesting. One was called ‘Defense Attaché’; a magazine which advertised military weapons like tanks, jets, automatic guns, ammo, bombs, missiles, etc. Unlike most magazines I had read about the military prior to this, Defense Attaché was unabashed and completely unafraid to reveal their real purpose; which was to sell implements of death and destruction to anyone with money.   The ads were nonchalant and matter of fact about what they were selling; and amazingly they used the same advertising techniques found on Madison Avenue. One ad for a tank showed a man sitting on the tank with his pals smoking a cigarette with a very satisfied look on his face. His arm resting on the gun turret and he was bragging about how many people he had just killed before lunch, etc. What was also amazing was all the ‘mom and pop’ ‘All-American’ companies who advertised in Defense Attaché like Garcia fishing rods, Ralston Purina, etc. They were all in on this very lucrative business of blowing their fellow humans to smithereens without a second thought.

Since that time, I’ve tried to get a copy of Defense Attaché, but it has completely disappeared or perhaps it still exists but is not readily available via a Google search. The IDE and Conference video below reminds me of Defense Attaché’s shopping mall atmosphere.

Is a Duck Watching You?

by DAVID BROWN | CLEARNFO.com | May 29, 2015

Anatidaephobia: the fear that somewhere, somehow, a duck is watching you

Anatidaephobia: the fear that somewhere, somehow, a duck is watching you

Wouldn’t surprise me to find ‘Anatidaephobia’ in the fanciful and non-scientific book of psyches and propaganda entitled ‘Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM)’ where everything is a disorder. The DSM is the Psyche’s attempt at creating their own PDR (Physician’s Desk Reference) thus giving them the appearance of legitimacy and therefore allowing them to attach to the great money teat of qualified health insurance. However, the duck picture featured here is a very funny and interesting picture. And, I’ve often wondered if some humans possess a 6th sense alerting them when someone is secretly watching. BTW, the DSM is just another example of science by consensus masquerading as real science. Anyone capable of critical thought recognizes that science by consensus is not science at all but propaganda.  Don’t buy their BS. Think for yourself. Beyond the muting and the destruction of countless lives, you will find behind the DSM are billions of dollars in Big Pharma psych drugs which are the proximate cause and are at the scene of the crime of the majority of the mass murders we view in horror in today’s headlines. Yet this fact is lost on our MSM (“Mainstream Media“).  Despite documented evidence that gun ownership in the USA reduces crime, these crimes are attributed rather to gun ownership by the media which receive 70% or their advertising revenue from Big Pharma. At the same time, there exists some evidence that certain psychoactive drugs when used properly can have short-term, beneficial effects for psychosis and for bipolar disorder; however, long-term they are not curative and don’t treat the root of the problem. It is important to also read the warning labels on most of these drugs which include “Homicidal & Suicidal Ideation”, which explains much of the irrational carnage we find at gun-free schools, movie theaters, etc.

The Corruption of Science – beware of the white lab coat

“Science is the belief in the ignorance of experts.” – Richard Feynman

Scientist in Lab Coat

Scientist in Lab Coat

I’m a scientist at heart, so why do I love to ridicule my fellow scientists so much? I think it’s because of their highly exalted and unassailable position in our so called modern era (1946 – present) and because so many are sellouts who serve the selfish agendas of the moneyed “powers that shouldn’t be” and more particularly many serve down-right evil corporations that just happen to sign the front side of their paychecks, provide grants and donate huge sums to our likewise exalted and corrupted universities …  and it’s also partly due to the fact so many people have been trained that if someone in a lab coat says something then it has to be true. Turn off your brain… case settled.

Though many scientists are waking up to the systemic fraud and deception throughout our scientific community, the average citizen is completely unaware.

And it appears that the ‘Scientific American’ wants to have it both ways. First they are more than willing to point out the fraud, yet they are themselves a big part of the fraud perpetrated on the hapless public as evidenced by their two articles below. One supports GMO with trickery and sleight of hand while the other article complains about ‘An Epidemic of False Claims’ in scientific studies. You can’t have it both ways, Mr. Scientific American.

I’ve been reading the Scientific American since I was twelve, yes twelve years old; though I can’t claim I understood what I was reading at that age. With all the colorful diagrams and mathematical formulas, I just knew they were talking about something important and wanted to know what it was.

So what is the evidence that the once exalted Scientific American is one of the worst offenders? If you read their article below in support of GMOs, you will discover that they have munged or commingled several terms thereby obfuscating their meanings to suit their preconceived conclusions.

I really get the promise of GMO providing food to the hungry (though recent data has disproved this benefit), but I would prefer to use artificial or natural selection, not transginic bioengineering using gene-splicing and gene insertion from different species. I just don’t trust Monsanto and now I don’t trust SA. I think this article represents the best of bad science: The SA article cleverly commingles several terms: Selective breeding, Artificial selection, Bioengineering and GMO and would therefore have the reader believe they are the same. They are not. And there is a huge difference between Cisgenic and Transgenic. I would prefer Cisgenic only because I don’t think man is smart enough to have a clue about what he is doing. Of course we need to have GMO labeling. I don’t care if my food has been selectively bred: examples are the Delicious apple, the Hereford cow, etc. because in selective breeding you are breeding cow to cow or apple to apple; NOT cow to virus or cow to rat or pig or cow to cockroach…or some other unknown concoction Monsanto may have created. I want to know if there is virus, bacteria, transgenic DNA/RNA in my food and I want to know if there is Glyphosate a.k.a. Roundup® on my food and I want to know if it is safe. Another undisclosed issue is that when GMO corn pollinates adjacent fields of heirloom corn, it destroys for all time the genetics of that heirloom corn. On a global stage, this could be devastating.

Another glaring flaw in this SA article is that they seem content on referring to “other” authorities.   Just give me the science … after all aren’t you Scientific American?

And from the Lancet, we have the following …

Vol 385   April 11, 2015 by Richard Horton
Offline: What is medicine’s 5 sigma? (PDF)
“A lot of what is published is incorrect.” I’m not allowed to say who made this remark because we were asked to observe Chatham House rules. We were also asked not to take photographs of slides. Those who worked for government agencies pleaded that their comments especially remain unquoted, since the forthcoming UK election meant they were living in “purdah”—a chilling state where severe restrictions on freedom of speech are placed on anyone on the government’s payroll. Why the paranoid concern for secrecy and non-attribution? Because this symposium—on the reproducibility and reliability of biomedical research, held at the Wellcome Trust in London last week—touched on one of the most sensitive issues in science today: the idea that something has gone fundamentally wrong with one of our greatest human creations.”

HughPickens.com … writes in today’s Slash Dot the following brilliant little ditty…

“Richard Horton writes that a recent symposium on the reproducibility and reliability of biomedical research discussed one of the most sensitive issues in science today: the idea that something has gone fundamentally wrong with science (PDF), one of our greatest human creations. The case against science is straightforward: much of the scientific literature, perhaps half, may simply be untrue. Afflicted by studies with small sample sizes, tiny effects, invalid exploratory analyses, and flagrant conflicts of interest, together with an obsession for pursuing fashionable trends of dubious importance, science has taken a turn towards darkness. According to Horton, editor-in-chief of The Lancet, a United Kingdom-based medical journal, the apparent endemicity of bad research behavior is alarming. In their quest for telling a compelling story, scientists too often sculpt data to fit their preferred theory of the world or retrofit hypotheses to fit their data.”

“Can bad scientific practices be fixed? Part of the problem is that no-one is incentivized to be right. Instead, scientists are incentivized to be productive and innovative. Tony Weidberg says that the particle physics community now invests great effort into intensive checking and rechecking of data prior to publication following several high-profile errors. By filtering results through independent working groups, physicists are encouraged to criticize. Good criticism is rewarded. The goal is a reliable result, and the incentives for scientists are aligned around this goal. “The good news is that science is beginning to take some of its worst failings very seriously,” says Horton. “The bad news is that nobody is ready to take the first step to clean up the system.”
