On the matter of kneeling at the National Anthem …

I admit, I haven’t given this much thought since I’m not a sports enthusiast, but here’s my 2 cents anyway…

Why did they kneel?

According to Aaron Morrison: “San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick announced his decision to sit down or take a knee during the national anthem to call attention to police violence and injustice in black America. His act of protest followed several high-profile fatal police shootings of black men this summer — including the deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile in July.”

I believe that anyone should be able to kneel or stand at the national anthem, but it’s just not that simple to me. So in principle I agree with Kaepernick’s right to kneel… but I have a few problems with that…

  • This was a gimmick thought up by the Soros funded and Soros backed Black Lives Matter; whose job BTW is to spread anger, hate, and division and to sow general unrest in the population for regime change; which never occurred, thankfully. This is textbook Soros, and Soros has a long history of doing the exact same thing in many other countries; Ukraine for example. What this means is that I see a bunch of morons –not protestors– playing right into Soros’ hand, so I’m against being a Soros puppet.
  • These high-paid athletes are in the entertainment business, yes that’s right, entertainment so I think while they are performing the job they are being paid for should do what is in their contract and what their managers or bosses ask; elsewise they should be fired.
  • It makes me ill to see these NFL owners virtue-signal to the SJW by giving in to the kneeling ruse.

None of this has anything to do with patriotism IMHO, just pointless posturing.

So for me it has less to do with being patriotic than being a dupe for George Soros.
